Refunds and cancellations
Last updated October 25, 2026
We want you to be happy with what you buy from us. Here is how cancellations and refunds work. A written agreement for your service, such as a quote or license, may add to these terms.
Websites and setup services
Website and setup work is billed half up front and half at launch. If you cancel before we start work, we refund your deposit in full. Once work has started, the deposit covers the work already done and is not refunded, and the second payment is not due unless we launch.
Domains and email
Domain registration fees cannot be refunded once a domain is registered. Email plans can be cancelled at any time and stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
App subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time unless the law requires it or your agreement says otherwise. Organization licenses follow the terms of the license agreement.
Custom apps
Deposits, milestones and refunds for custom apps follow the written agreement for the project.
Payments to an organization through our apps
When you buy from an organization's store, or pay dues or fees to an organization through one of our apps, that organization is the seller and receives the money. Please ask the organization about refunds. We are glad to help them process one.
Utah Energy Registry
Consultations are free. Solar and battery purchases are made under a separate contract with the installer, and that contract's cancellation terms apply.
How to ask for a refund
Write to hello@ecindu.com with your name, what you bought and the date. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method; card refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.
A charge you don't recognize
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most questions can be sorted out quickly, and we will work with you to make it right.
