Eternal City Industries, Inc. ("we", "us") is the parent company of our software and apps business, ISOL Central and Utah Energy Registry. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It covers this website and the websites, apps and services our businesses provide. If a service has its own privacy notice, that notice applies as well.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, messages, and details you share when you ask for a quote, an appointment or support.
- Account information in our apps: what the app needs to work, such as your name and email, and the records you or your organization keep in it.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Technical information: the basic logs our hosting providers keep to run the service securely, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your settings.
How we use it
- To provide the services you asked for, and to answer your questions.
- To send messages about your account, your purchases or your appointments, and other messages you asked to receive.
- To keep our services secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. This website has no advertising trackers.
AI features
Where one of our apps offers an AI feature, names and contact details are removed before any text is sent to the AI service, and the feature can be switched off.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our services for us, such as hosting, databases, email delivery and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide those services.
- The organization that runs your account. If your school, club or other organization gives you an account in one of our apps, that organization's administrators can see the records it keeps there.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers or others.
Children
Some of our apps are made for schools and families. Accounts for children are created and managed by a parent, guardian or school, and we collect only what the app needs to work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without the consent of a parent or the child's school. A parent or guardian can ask to review or delete a child's information by writing to us.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide the service, or as long as the law requires. Information is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to the people and systems that need it.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time using the link in the email.
- If your account belongs to an organization, its administrator may be able to help you first.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also let account holders know.
